 60th Annual Halloween Parade

Sunday, October 26th

The 60th annual Woburn Host Lions Parade will start at the ShowCase Cinemas off Route 38 in Woburn and will proceed down Main Street, through Woburn Center and end on Lake Avenue near the Winchester Line.  This year, more than 25 bands are expected to perform along with more than 80 floats.  The parade, which will go on rain or shine, will travel 2.2 miles and it is expected to last approximately 1.5 hours.

Besides entertaining kids and adults alike, a main goal of the event is to raise funds for Massachusetts Lions Eye Research.  These funds enable the medical research staffs of institutions such as Tufts Medical, Boston University, Schepens Institute and Massachusetts Eye and Ear to find cures for eye diseases and to develop new treatment methods for traumatic eye injuries.

The parade is free to all, however donations to the Eye Research fund are greatly appreciated.
